Water Rates

$75 deposit for service

Unpaid accounts are subject to disconnection at 45 days.
There is a $30.00 charge for reconnection.

Sewer Rates

$10.22 per month base charge
$3.63 per 1000 gallons per month
Special rates apply for accounts without city water service.

Refuse Collection

$14.00 per month
3 bags allowed per week
$1.00 each extra bag

$20.00 per month (non-residential)
3 bags allowed per week
$1.00 each extra bag

$28.00 per month (commercial)
3 bags allowed per week
$1.00 each extra bag

No bags to exceed 35 gallon capacity

The City of Bonne Terre Recycling Program is FREE to residences that have City Trash Service.  We recycle paper, plastic, and cans.  Bins can be picked up at City Hall M-F 8:00am to 4:00pm.  For more info, contact us @ 573-358-2254.

We also offer a FREE Leaf and Limb pickup on the second week of the month, April thru October, for residents with Utility Service(s).  Contact City Hall @ 573-358-2254 for more info.

We also offer a Bulk Trash Pickup on the fourth Monday of the month, from April thru October.  The cost is $15.00 for a standard size pickup load, as many loads as you need.  Items not eligible are building materials and chemicals/containers.  For more info, contact us @ 573-358-2254

Payments may be made by cash, check or money order.
A 24-hour drop box is located curbside at City Hall.
