Greetings,
The Bonne
Terre Police Department employs 10 full time police officers and 4 part
time officers. The Department
utilizes a Detective, Traffic, and K-9 division.
They have a robust traffic and DWI
enforcement policy. Yearly
the department responds to very few violent crimes.
However, the they answer on average about
50,000 calls for service a year.
The Bonne Terre Police Department hosts an annual Public Safety Day
in May. The event includes a
parade, child fingerprinting, and safety demonstrations.
They also participate in National
Night Out Against Crime every August, are a member of the Mineral Area
Drug Task Force, and work closely with other area law enforcement
agencies.
The Bonne Terre Police Department proudly serves the citizens of
Bonne Terre with service, professionalism, and dedication.
