The
City of Bonne Terre Building Department reviews plans, issues
permits, and conducts Occupancy Inspections in accordance with the
city's building codes. Permits are required for new building
construction, construction of an addition, altering or changing
the use of an existing building, fencing, sheds, carports, decks,
and pools.
Occupancy Inspections are required any time a residence
changes occupants, regardless of the time a residence was
occupied.
The fee for an Occupancy Inspection is
$25.00.
The fee for a Building Permit depends on the cost of
construction ($1.00 for each estimated $1,000.00 cost of
construction with a minimum charge of $10.00)
